Beautiful course.One of the best maintained I have played in AZ. Didn't like the rolling fairways on some of the holes or the occasional climb to get to the green. Would recommend to players who golf more than once a month. Golfers who play less frequently will find it a challenge even from the yellow tees.

I played Mountainview on January 13, 2011, and found it to be an excellent layout. It is not particularly long, at some 6700 yards from the back tees, and with five sets of tees to choose from a player can play a challenging round of golf. We played the purple tees(6040 yds), which were well marked with a splotch of purple paint on the curb at the appropriate spot on the cart path. The fairways were reasonable wide, and you could see the landing area quite well from the tees. Although homes lined the fairways on both sides of the fairway you still were playing desert golf, with Quail and rabbits seen quite frequently. The greens were good, both receptive to a good shot, and reasonably quick on putting.
