The condition of the golf course was very poor for a facility that has outstanding staff, a gorgeous setting and an excellent restaurant.
The green is patchy and lighting fast. Rough is rough, but the price was right with the Hub discount.
This course plays longer then the card reads. The course is in good condition and there are great views. Challenging yet fair but course knowledge is a big plus here. We were fortunate to play with a member. The staff were all friendly and Id recommend you try the restaurant as the food and service was great.

Canoa Ranch is the most beautiful and challenging course in Green Valley. Spectacular views of the Santa Ritas. Lots of elevation changes. Not a course for beginners!! Greens were very tough because of the aeration process. Absolutely could not hit the putts hard enough. Hit the ball well but could not score because of the aeration! Love the course.
I played Canoa Ranch on Jan 14th, 2010, and found it to be a great experience. The course is located in Green Valley, some 25 miles South of Tucson. It is one of the best of the many courses located in the area. I have a 8 handicap and played the second from the back (Azul) tees. The overall length from these tees is less than 6,000 yards, but still offers enough of a challenge. The course was in very good condition. The fairways were reasonably wide and the greens (although fast) were receptive. The only negative was on the last hole. We played late in the afternoon and following a slow group ahead, played the 18th hole (par 5) just before dark. The 3rd shot to the green was most difficult due to fact that the flag on the green was hard to pick out because the entrance to a new housing area (located at the rear of the green) was lined with flags also. Other than this, it is a very fine golf course and enjoyable to play. The staff was most helpful. I retrieved a pair of sunglasses the next morning which was left in the cart.
