When are you happiest on the golf course?
Ask the Rules Official
"Playing four-ball matchplay. Two opponents hit each others ball and is not noticed until players hit green. Par 5. Loss of hole? 2 strokes for each player? Apparently both players hit the wrong ball twice on same hole. Thanks."
"In Match Play, each player was disqualified for the hole when he played a wrong ball. In the case of four ball, the partners’ balls then were the only ones to count, low score winning the hole." ![]()
