Presidio Golf Course Reviews
300 Finley Road San Francisco, CA 94129
The Presidio Golf Course is nestled within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area just south of the Golden Gate Bridge
First..... the course is beautiful and the staff (ALL of them) were welcoming and helpful. Suggestion #1: our first electric cart wouldn't hardly turn right and we accidentally drove into a hedge! Our second cart ran out of electric charge by hole number 14! The carts should be checked out before they go into the lineup. #2: some of the sand bunkers need sand.... lots of it. We will come back to this spectacular golf course.

The Presdidio is a great course...if you can play in fair weather. This was our first round at Presidio and it was very foggy and misting. You could follow the ball after your drive about 50 -75 yards, then it disappears in the fog. Even in clear weather there are five holes where you can't see the fairway due to rolling hills (in the fairway) that block your view from the tee box. It would be nice if you could get a hole-by-hole picture guide on the score card like most courses offer free of charge. The Presdidio offers this for $7.00. Aside from these negatives, the course is well maintained, greens are in good shape and putt true, and the layout is challenging but fair. Check the weather forecast before you play!
