I have played this course many times but not for a couple of years. We started at 9:30 and had 5 hours to finish playing before commitments had to be met. After 14 holes we decided we could not finish because of the slow pace of play. We played the 9th hole in on Meadows and skipped 6,7 and 8. Both 8 and 9 had no one on them. Its tough to justify the drive out and back to Jamul if the pace of play is so slow that you need to allocated 5 1/2 hours to get a round in.

Had a great time. Just right for us. Loved the canyons, panoramic views from tees. Course in good shape. Good greens. Thanks for having us.

Came to San Diego for a week vacation and golf another unnamed course that was disappointing to say the least. So when we first tee off on the Meadow course standing there looking at the views and how well the course was maintained was a pleasant and rewarding surprise. The staff was welcoming too.

Nice course with challenging holes. Greens and fairways in very good condition. Starter wasn't overly helpful to a first time player. I was sent out by myself (which I didnt mind), but I was behind a threesome and a foursome. Could have done better pairing me with a group or putting me off one of the other nines (they have three). Lack of course knowledge (no course directions on card, but a diagram of each hole at the tee box) cost me several strokes. I would like to play the course again.
