Make the 2012 Open Championship more interesting – Play the GolfHub Pick’em Challenge! All you have to do is pick 8 players from this year's field and add up their winnings. If the players you choose earned the most money out of all other entries you will win a Southern California Golf Getaway for Four!
The Grand Prize
You and three of your best friends will enjoy a Southern California golf getaway at the luxurious La Costa Resort & Spa that includes two rounds of golf at the Champions Course (home of the 2012 LPGA Kia Classic) and the South Course, plus $500 in cash!
The Scoring System
From all valid entries received, the winner will be determined based on the combined earnings of their players in the championship. An example calculation is below:

- • Ernie Els: $34,000
- • Stewart Cink: $130,000
- • Tim Clark: $86,000
- • Ian Poulter: $1,000,000
- • Jim Furyk: $500,000
- • Sergio Garcia: $98,000
- Total Earnings = $2,046,000

Make Your Picks
Once you are logged in to your account, you can make your picks. Use the drop down menu to select a total of 8 golfers. Then enter your tiebreaker score. The tiebreaker will be the total 4 day stroke count of the winner of The 2012 British Open Championship. If you need to make changes to your picks, you can do so by clicking “Remove Pick” next to the golfer you want to remove. Then you can make a new selection from the drop down menu. No changes to picks can be made after the Locktime on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:59PM MST.
