Summer is a little hard on the grass in the fairways. A few places where it is dying and needs time to regrow. Requires fairly striaght ball hitting to remain in the fairways. Dont spend a lot of time looking for balls in the desert areas. Play times become very long later in the day.

I make sure to golf this course every trip I make. Don't let this shorter course fool you. For all of you who get beaten by your friends long bombs, here is your chance to get even. Hit-and-go-find-it golfers do NOT do well here:) You gotta be straight and you gotta be accurate, and even when you are, you're challenged by some of the toughest greens around. So bring your best putting game and your accuracy ... you'll be rewarded. And the best part ... you wont break your wallet to play here.

In this case you cant judge the course by the price .... usually an inexpensive round of golf gives you exactly what you pay for. Sundance keeps golf affordable to play several rounds of golf in a week but also give you exactly what the BIGGIES give you. The staff is very friendly, carts are in good condition and clean, practice area are kept up. All restrooms on and off the course are clean. For the money spent you would think you'd be getting a no brainier course to play-----WRONG. Playing this course will test your accuracy, putting ability, course management skills and sense of humor all while also taking in the mountain views. Definitely not a beginners course. The course is in great condition and not just the drive by holes.... all this in combination keeps me coming back.....try the course but then don't tell anyone about it....its my hidden secret !!!
