For more than 70 years, exceptional golf has long been a hallmark of our resort experience, earning some of the industry`s most prestigious accolades, including Golf Magazine`s ...
Course is a nice track and was in very good shape. It is pretty flat, so lacks some of the variety and interest you find at newer courses. Greens were interesting with some challenging pin placements and rolled very true. We had a very enjoyable round. With 3 courses intersecting with each other on many holes, it can be confusing and sometimes a little dangerous with people seeming to hit into you. Better signage would help tremendously. If it was my club, I would remove one of the 3 courses and spread the other 3 out a bit and make them more interesting.
Played the gold yesterday. Course is beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Range balls are free, and we saw the cart lady 3 times on our round. We were told by the starter that the gold course was the toughest of the three, I haven't played the other two but the gold was the toughest Ive ever played. Most of the greens are on a hill at least 6 feet high, some protected by a wall, some by water, and all by some really nasty and steep bunkers. Word of advice: lay it up always. Better to lose one stroke than three!
We really enjoyed everything immensely our only disappointment was it appeared that my playing partners vest was apparently stolen out of the cart after golf.I assume the course will watch for its return.Other than that first class all the way
Played the course on 11 Jan 2012. Played the Gold course and the course was in great shape. Would recommend this course to anyone. Plan on playing it again when we return in 2013.
We played the gold course from the middle tees and still played almost 6900 yds. Fun, tough layout. Back tees must be a monster, especially 4 days after overseed reopen. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Played in 3:20 on Sunday afternoon. Great course.
