Panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south provide guests with a great visual golfing experience.
Wide fairways, challenging greens, nice facility.
The golf course was in good shape, fairways were good to. The greens were real good. The bunkers had fluffy sand not cement like some courses.
The fairways were very receptive and the moisture allowed for the irons to slide through with out a feeling of a hard impact on the arms. Greens were a little firm and fast. The par 3 tee boxes were rough given all the play that this course gets, they do not have enough time the grow back before the next rotation to that same area. A little larger teeing area on the par 3's might help.
Course was in pretty good shape. There were some overly wet spots from over watering. Im surprised there isnt bag help at the entrance. It looked like a pretty busy day, but I did't see one ranger to help with play. We were held up through-out the front nine, but we were able (with some prodding) to pass the foursome (womans group) in front of us for the back nine. They were consistent through-out there play, but way too many strokes to keep a good pace. It was extremely slow.
Course is in excellent condition. Probably the best value in the valley. Worth the drive. Pace of play was much better this time.
