Overview of The Foothills Golf Club

Seductively secluded in the craggy ridges and buttes of South Mountain, the wide rolling fairways of the lush green course are irresistible. For a challenging round or special event, this championship course is a picturesque golf paradise. The par 72 links-styled course, designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, stretches over 6,968 yards with a course rating/slope of 73.2 and 132. This beautiful facility is tucked away in the craggy ridges and buttes of South Mountain. The wide rolling fairways of the lush green course are irresistible.

I thoroughly enjoyed the foothills golf course, the course is in very nice condition and the staff in the pro shop and restaurant are exceptional.

Having traveled from Minnesota on a rain soaked weekend to the sunny climate of Phoenix we decided to try a round of golf at The Foothills. The day was a Sunday, and there was a group of players coming off the course from a tournament. We had a 1:00 tee time and all the players were done by then. We found the day to be VERY WINDY. The course was very well maintained and just a treat to golf. All the people at the clubhouse were very helpful and the people we met on the course were very nice. The grounds were very well manicured and the greens held up very well for all the traffic that had just come off the course. I would say that some of the sights on the course were worth the price of the round. $30.00 I believe. The views of the mountains and the lakes scattered around the course were awesome. I would sure golf here again.
