I had heard different things about western skies since moving here from WI five months ago, so i decided to play it myself. The staff is very friendly and the electric carts are equipped with GPS systems so you're always informed. The course was in as good of shape as it could be for this time of year not to mention that it rained pretty good the day before my round so i knew going in that it was probably going to be one of those days i could blame a bad day of golfing on a wet and mushy course. To my surprise the course was in wonderful shape except for a couple spots where water had collected, but that didn't bother play at all. Overall the course was enjoyable and the service was exceptional and i would definitely come back.

The course is coming along way under the new ownership. Friendly staff and great bar and grill specials. I also enjoyed the many televisions in the lounge. I just hope that they keep the prices reasonable.

I have played this course many times, As usual I found it to be in very good condition. The staff was very helpful {especially the starter}, I was not feeling 100% and asked if i could take a cart alone and was granted my request.

I hesitated before writing a review since this couse has many reviews in the system. Decided to do one anyway. It was raining! Staff was friendly - and maybe surprised that we still went out (not raining too hard). Course is quite open, not too long (we played middle tees due to the weather being miserable). When off the fairway, the 1st cut of rough is short & tight lies abound. More likely (if dry) to run into desert (or mud this week). Most (maybe all) areas have been cleared out - so very difficult to lose a ball on the course (unless you hit it into a water hazard). This contributes to a bare look. Greens were OK, rolled true, were firm but a bit slow (it was wet). Tees were covered by relatively long grass (maybe they couldnt get the mowers on due to weather) but this made the par 3s difficult for those who dont want to use a tee on a short iron shot - its like playing from rough. Overall conditions are what youd get at many Municipal courses. Not a top course - but you are not paying a top price either.

The Staff is very friendly from lounge, pro shop, and starter. The sand traps are in excellent condition and greens are in great shape.
