Course was good value for your money.
Shalimar is a true Tempe treasure - a medium length executive 9-hole course with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The course is in pretty good shape year-round, too. The first three holes are perhaps the easiest, but then water comes into play. Lots of mature trees line the course and not only provide welcome shade, but an obstacle for wayward hitters like yours truly. The greens are small and the fairways tend toward narrow on this small property.
