Ideally located just a short drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and most major Scottsdale Resorts or Hotels, The Raven Golf Club - Phoenix is a "Must Play" in Arizona.
From start to finish a delightful day in the Arizona Sun. The staff, from the boys at the bag drop to the gentlemen in the pro shop to the starter could not have been more helpful and professional. The course is in excellent condition and with four sets of tees will test the ability of every golfer. The only negative, given it was 95 degrees, they could use more water stations. Also they do not have cups at the water stations that are available. However, all in all it was a delightful day.
The Raven is a beautiful course. A lot of greenery and very lush fairways. Greens were true and quick. The only issue we had was our tee time. I have the confirmation e-mail stating our tee time was at 11:00 AM. When we got to the course, They had us at 9:00 AM. Fortunately, it was a slow day and they were able to get us on at 11:20.
What an amazing course for being right south of the city, definately recommend you to play here.
