After a somewhat rocky start and minimal service from the cart staff, we had a great time at Karsten. Greens were extremely fast but the course was in great shape for early season.
We had a great time playing this course. It was in great shape. Play was a little slow. But there was a group ahead of us who shouldn't have been playing from the tips.
The course is well designed and a challenge for all handicaps. Only drawback is the surroundings of the course. (power plant and in the flightpath for PHX.)

Played ASU Karsten on the 11th of Jan 2012 and we really enjoyed ourselves. In February 2011 our group didn't have a great experience and I talked to Mr. Jones and he invited our group to play the course again. We did and we had a blast. Course was in really good condition. Thanks again Mr. Jones and we will add this course to our yearly playable courses when we come to Phoenix.
