I like the layout. It is a short course. Its unfortunate that they do not have a practice area. But, I would play it again if the price is right. I feel that they charge more than the course is worth. But, if people are paying their high prices, good for them. I wouldn't pay more than $20.00 to play there.

played 18 in 2 hours and 20 minutes as a single, got held up by an older twosome who thought they were Herb Drinkwater and John McCain, they thought they owned the place, played two balls spent 10 minutes looking for balls in the rough even though they were in the fairway, they even drove their cart up on the fringe of the greens, I even hit into them by accident as they hit their second shots and drove off I thought towards the green, I teed off then they reappeared from the waste area. On eighteen they spent another 5-10 minutes dredging for balls in the water even though they made the green. Just an extreme case of bad etiquette. The two-some behind me caught up on the 17th tee box, they didnt seem to mind the wait as in the Scottsdale old west tradition pulled out air pistols and started plinking the wild life in the bushes. Other than those two groups the course was in good shape for all the rain we have had, casual water in areas. Staff was courteous and friendly price on golf hub was reasonable

SSGC has numerous elevated tee boxes & holes which give you a good test of your skill. I found the course to be interesting and enjoyed playing it. The only drawback is it does not have a driving range. Other than that I feel it is a course worth playing. Jim from Northern CA
