A golf experience to remember for a lifetime. In 1995, Robert Trent Jones Jr. made his Arizona debut with Las Sendas Golf Club, joining an elite list of world-class architects who have left their marks in the desert Southwest. A demanding desert-style layout winding through the Usery Mountains in east Mesa, this upscale course is setting the standard for customer service in the Greater Phoenix area. Las Sendas` spectacular views of the Phoenix metropolis help soften the demand of managing your game through the rugged terrain, nearly 1,800 feet above the desert floor. Las Sendas is not a course contrived with artifice, decor, or railroad ties, nor is it a target course. It is a strategic course, so learn the preferred route from tee to green. It is a nature walk through the desert, attracting you with beauty and challenging you with shot options. You can`t wait to get back and play it again.

What a terrific course to play . I just loved this layout and the course was in great condition in January 2010 and would highly recommend this course to anyone visiting the phoenix area for golf. Lots of challenging holes and it is a must play again for us. We were a little lost the first time we played it but will definitely go back this January 2011.

The pro shop was under construction when we played, but the staff was very accomodating. The practice range is included in the green fee, and balls were stacked professionally and the tee area was in excellent shape.
The starter was great, and the first hole started off well. The course has a few really difficult holes, and if you get off the fairway, trying to hit out of the rock/dirt mix may ruin a club, so be prepared to drop and take a stroke. Sand traps were well manicured, but the consistency was rough. I guess the best thing is to stay on the fairways!
The pace was excellent. We played on a Saturday and the snack shop on the 14th/5th green area was not open, but in July, maybe its too slow. The beverage lady came around frequently, and there was ice water on every other hole, so there was no problem staying hydrated.
One thing stood out -- there were a tremendous number of rabbits on the course. A few hopped up as if expecting a treat, and a couple stood on the tee box with us, unafraid of the golfers and not fazed by the sound of the drivers.
We enjoyed the course and will play it again when it is cooler.

The short drive out to Mesa was well worth it.Played on 3-26,the course was in great condition ,greens were very fast but true, the staff was friendly an all out good experience. I think Las Sendas can hold its own with all the top courses in Scottsdale and in the Gold camp with out the huge cost.
