Stonecreek follows the contours of Indian Bend wash as it winds its way through Paradise Valley. Immaculate, manicured greens and fairways reflect the high value we place on e...
The course was in great shape and the weather was perfect. The only negative was the slow pace of playing.
Stonecreek was an awesome golf course! Greens were true, fairways were in great shape. Good challenge for golfers of all levels. Staff were very friendly for the most part. Some awesome looking holes. Not to mention I got my first hole in one!
You'll enjoy this course with a great variety of golf holes in great condition. A fair test of your game if you choose the correct tee box. Greens are in excellent condition. The sand bunkers have plenty of sand in them, unlike many courses for the price. Carts have GPS systems which are included in the price. The only objection I had was the condition of the practice range.
Made a last min reservation. Played 36 holes. Great course. Greens were in great shape. Lunch special that day, $1 Taco's and $1 Margarita's (what a country). Our group plan on adding this course to our list from now on. They say, Phoenix "Best kept Secret". I would agree.
I play Stonecreek after my confidence rebuilds. Then I go out and get humbled again. Lots of variety on the course with water, hummocks, traps and the ever-present creek on your right. The course was in really good shape when I played in November 2011. This course is probably easier if you can golf with accuracy. I find it to be an enjoyable but frustrating adventure. The last time I played, however, the ranger kept dogging us & I felt I was playing in a track meet. We had a bellicose foursome behind us who tolerated no erroneous shots. The ranger should have cut us some slack.
