Described by locals as the "Fun Place to Play", Continental Golf Club is located just blocks from Old Town Scottsdale. Enjoyable for all ages and skill levels, this executive-style par 60 short course allows you to use every club in the bag and get in a great round in about 3 hours. Great Scottsdale golf doesn`t need to be expensive!
Dress Code: No Denin, Golf Attire Required
This is a terrific course for beginner golfers that don't have a lot of time to kill and need to stay close to home. It's straightforward executive course style golf but the greens are usually in reasonably good shape and the rates are usually affordable, especially when booking online. Would recommend for any beginner in the Scottsdale area.
We were 30 minutes late teeing off after being told there was a 10 to 15 minute delay. We waited on most holes, sometimes for up to 15 minutes. The course should easily be played in 3 and a half hours, as it is a short executive course with many par 3s. However, Almost 4 hours later, we had finished 17 and there were two foursomes ahead of us on the 18th tee. We packed it in as we had an appointment and would likely have had to finish in the dark. I think they need to space out their tee off times a little more as a lot of beginners golf there apparently. It is a nice little course but some of the fairways border the driving range and you have to be careful where you hit or you will be lost amidst stray range balls. Probably will not go back during snowbird season ... too frustrating!
Took mom out golfing for Mothers day.
Nice round of golf. Played the front nine alone and joined 3 others on the back nine.
After staying away from golf for 18 months, I wanted to start getting back into form on an executive course. To my surprise, Continental Golf Club had some of the best kept greens I've seen in Arizona. I used every iron I have to navigate the course design. Play was a little slow but we started after noon. Definitely recommend this golf course.
