Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The pace of play was very good. I wish someone had told us ahead of time that the greens had just been heavily sanded that morning. Course was in good shape other than the greens.

I typically play at about 20 golf courses in california through out the year. This course is one of my favorite top three to play. I have played this course several times in the past but unforfunately only once this year. The greens are always smooth and true. Some days they play faster than others. The fairways are always in good shape with divots replaced or filled, closely mown, and green. Today there was quite a few areas with ground under repair (more than Id seen in the past). It makes sense they have to make repairs, sometimes, to keep the grounds looking so nice. The second thing I notice is the homes around the golf course are always well maintained. The lanscaping and private yards are nice to look at. OUT OF BOUNDS, but nice to look at. I always see deer running around every time Ive played. They almost walk up to you. Beauty aside, this course is a pleasure to play and friendly on the scores (if you can keep it in the fairway). The restaurant is really nice. Ive only had one bad meal there (over cooked). All other meals were 5 star. Resort staff are friendly and helpfull. I highly recommend this course at least once a year. If I lived up here Id play here every week.

Hi - Greenhorn Creek is an amazingly beautiful, very well maintained golf course. Fairways and Greens were perfect - I was able to get some darn good shots as a result. The only negative I note, is that there was a foursome two ahead of us that were taking a lesson it stalled the game to the point we had to leave and not play - Holes 17 & 18 - dinner reservations and getting cleaned up trumped completing the course. We started at 11 and left at 4. We still enjoyed ourselves.
